The slope leading down into the as-yet-unpaved garage, as seen from Calderon Avenue.
Around the perimeter, you can see the wooden framing that will hold the concrete as it is poured to form the walls of the garage. In the background, some of the mounds of excavated soil are covered with plastic to protect them from blowing in the wind or turning to mud if it should rain.

Another view of the framing for the walls of the underground garage.
In the center, you can see a few of the vertical cylinders that will become the columns that hold up the podium. The podium is the slab that will form the ceiling of the garage and the base on which the main building will rise.

Laying out the ground to receive the foundation and the walls of the garage. The rebar provides reinforcement of the foundation that will support the walls and underlie the garage. At the intersections there will later be posts that support the building above the garage.

Clearing the land and preparing the farmhouse to be moved.
Before clearing started, grass had filled in the spaces between the remains of the dying walnut trees. This view is seen from the east, near Landels School; the old Bakotich farm house is faintly visible at the center, and one of the large machines used in clearing the land.
